Várdobáiki Museum – Sami Cultural Center with Museum, Gallery and Shop
Várdobáiki Museum works with the preservation, research, dissemination and renewal of Sámi artistic and cultural heritage and is part of a borderless Sami cultural landscape and community. The museum is responsible for museum activities for the Land Sami, Reindeer Herding Sami and Sea Sami culture in Northern Nordland and Southern Troms.
Here you also find a souvenir shop and galleri Várdobáiki who presents Sámi art through exhibitions, both by Sami amateur and professional artists from our area and from other regions. With this we want to present some of the diversity within Sami art.
Practical information
- You will be welcomed by a guide wearing Sami clothing and speaking English, but we also have brochures in English, German and Norwegian.
