Come and join us on an exclusive snowshoeing tour to the magical charming cabin up in the Norwegian mountain
This is truly idyllic, because this is an exclusive tour in the winter wonderland where we have focus on you and the journey we are on.
Here you will experience beautiful and magnificent, wild nature and with the magical mountains called Sætertinden and Steinfjellet in the background, it will be an experience you will not forget in the first time, and who knows, if we are lucky, we may see some of the unique wildlife that is in the area. Here we can find and see eagles, hares, foxes, moose and reindeer if the nature is with us.
And if you choose an evening tour when its dark, it’s extra exciting, because then we walk with headlamps on and we will have the opportunity to see the northern lights if the sky is clear and everything is in place for this.
The hike starts at the parking lot. Here we are given snowshoes and poles and help to get them on our feet if needed.
We then walk together in a row through beautiful nature and at a comfortable pace and we stop and take breaks where we have something to drink, before we continue our journey up to the fabulous cabin.
As we approach the cabin, we will be able to smell the wood burning stove and the smell of freshly brewed coffee.
Once we get there, we will be welcomed by a fantastic host and here you will be served the locale and the world’s famose cake, called Kvæfjord cake, or you will be served the very best homemade cinnamon rolls, and to top it all off, you will also get Norwegian laugh with salmon and salad in it.
Drinks are either coffee, tea or cocoa, you decide what you want most.
Trust me, you won’t find better hosts, because they are just so down-to-earth and nice that you will definitely want to come back on another occasion.

- We walk up from 60 to 90 minutes each way, so you should be in normal shape.

- Remember warm winter shoes, warm winter clothes, hat and warm gloves and if you don’t have winter clothes, we can help you to get them on request.
