In the evening time the opportunity to see the Northern Lights or the midnight sun is present.
And when you are lying there and floating on your back in the Arctic waters whether it is winter or summer time, this is an experience you won’t soon forget.
With us, you will put on survival suit that keep you warm and dry, no matter what time of year you choose to float around in the Arctic Ocean, you will be warm and dry as you float weightlessly around in the arctic sea.
After you have been explained how to relate to the actual floating, you put on the life jacket and after the floating session is finished, we relax and enjoy some hot drinks and something to eat and handing out diplomas that proof that you have completed Harstad – Arctic Floating Experiences and of course a pleasant company in together with us all.
The experience
- We meet at Harstad’s coziest and best coffee shop which is called Kaffepreg and is located at Storgata 17 – Just follow the good smell of coffee and you will find your way.
- We will also after the Arctic Floating enjoy freshly baked goods with coffee, cocoa or tea at Kaffepreg
- We will introduction you to safe arctic floating and a floating arctic adventure
- You will be given a survival suit for a safe and warm floating experience.
- Opportunity to see the Northern Lights or Midnight Sun if weather conditions allow it.
- Hot drinks and a bite to eat after floating session and you will be given your diplomas from Harstad – Arctic Floating
- Please dress appropriately for the season and the weather for the day.
- We have 7 approved flotation suits, and they are warm and dry
- Age limit for this activity is 18 years. (Under 18 accompanied by an adult and all arctic floating is done at your own risk and is not suitable for pregnant women.)
- You weigh somewhere between 55 kg (121 lb) and 95 kg (209 lb)
- You are somewhere between 1.60 cm tall and 1.90 cm tall
